In 1984, author Sarah Yates co-wrote Toronto Then and Now, with 90-year old Clarence Duff, published by Fitzhenry & Whiteside to celebrate the city’s sesquicentennial. The book sold out.
An Urban Life Journey from the Bronx, NYC to Victoria, BC written by Ira M. Robinson and published by Gemma B. Publishing was released in November 2011. Sarah and Ira worked for two years polishing his manuscript to his
satisfaction.
Sarah has also written hundreds of magazine articles, published by magazines primarily in Canada, the US, England and Thailand. Individual articles and personal essays have also been translated for publication elsewhere.
She has written and published six books of her own, primarily children’s books and textbooks and the young adult novel Lucky Lou Gets Game. Her mysteries are, as yet, unpublished.
